In Vain, I'm Searching for An Answer  
 What, I’m alive? And posting? Baah.

Lately everything has been like waves breaking in the ocean: one things comes in after another.

Often I question myself, question why I bother do anything… But in the end, laziness assumes its rightful position. I just find myself drifting towards sleep more often than not. I honestly cannot detach myself from wonder surrounding such an abstract yet concrete and real yet surreal experience. If I were to sink into a thousand nights worth of sleep, upon waking up I would be no less amazed with sleep than before.

I sleep to dream, and dream to sleep. And hopefully, never to be awoken.

There is no fault in dedication. Commitment. Honesty. Motivation. Yet people cannot take these qualities as they are and deal with them as they should.

I need a good book to read. A good long book. I lost myself to the Great Gatsby this morning, and came to my senses 40 minutes later in the middle of a hallway. The wonder that is literature.

Summer has ended, school has begun.
I must say, that things are different. Much different.

::Orientation
I was fasting; this became a long day for me. After a few loud, heart-felt reunions, I stumbled around to find my classes. By the end of the orientation, my throat burned with a thirst unknown to mankind. One has not known real thirst until they have fasted.

::First day
A rather quick-paced day. I trudged through the hallways from class to class. I found that I had people in three or more classes in a row, which was nice. However, I have no one in my math class. Lovely, right?

I wore the ring my grandmother gave me for good luck. However, by the end of the day... it was gone.
A ring I wore for good luck, I lost.
And I cried.

Worst first day of school ever.

::From Then till Now
School has drained me of all my energy.

I wake up, dead tired, 10 minutes before my bus arrives and quickly wash up and throw on some clothes. I spend the 30 minutes I have before class rushing through homework left over from the day before. My first period is Spanish IV Honors. A bore, of course, but I rather enjoy the fact that I understand all of the class lectures, which are in full Spanish. My second period is Accel. Pre-Calc Honors. I've had two teachers because our class got switched around, but I now have the same teacher as last year, Vasey. My third period is my favorite of the day, AP Lang. I rather enjoy the debates and controversial discussions. My fourth period is Adv. Web Development... and there's a lot of tension and such in that class. I enjoy the days where no one is talking more than the heated days. Lunch is hectic but lovely this year. My firth period is AP U.S. History. Rather than being boring, it's a waste of a class. My class is full of stupid people who don't even know what the Columbian Exchange is and don't care about learning anyway. My sixth period is AP Physics B. Let me rant now.

AP Physics B. If you are not one of those students who is two maths ahead of your grade, is extremely gifted in the art  of intense and complicated problem solving, or got above a 2350 on SATs, then don't bother. Taking this class was the BIGGEST mistake I've EVER made in my life. I sit and cry in the evenings because it is overwhelming. I have no idea WHAT compelled me to take this class, but I will regret it. I can barely manage a C in that class. I normally get 97+ in any AP class without bothering to study. However, I study my brains out and take meticulous notes in class, but can not manage to make even ONE A on a test/quiz. I wish someone had warned me of this before I took it.

::Mock Trial
I got elected the president! I'm quite excited for our competition this year, however, our new members are less than promising... We should win state this year, for I will see to that. Our numbers dwindle everyday... oh well...

::Social
I've met with Brittany and the gang at the mall this past weekend, and it was truly fun. Such light-hearted people, no tension, pure fun. Yes. However, I'm being dipped in and out of drama at school. Whatever. I'm over it.

And then there is Thomas. I've given up on him. He won't reply to anything so why should I bother anymore? I'm over him. He just can't "drop" me like I'm trash or something.

::Future
So it is decided. My dream is go to Stanford. And become a wonderful corporate lawyer. And then go on to do international business. Yes. My life.

::Video Games
I finally got Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep!! Devil May Cry 5 is coming out... and their new image of Dante makes me cry. I want my ripped macho man back. Screw teenage angst.

::Technology
Father has given me an iPad and a Kindle. They are both AMAZING. I spend hours and hours reading on my Kindle.

::Miscellaneous
I've become more and more obsessed with Sailor Moon. I would love to cosplay Sailor Neptune for Hallow's Eve.... however things don't happen that way because life and my costume abilities suck.
I've started an experiment. I need to wake up earlier. To accomplish this, I've begun turning the clock one minute ahead each week. So when I wake up at 7:00, it would really be 6:59 in my normal body time. If I keep doing this, then I won't notice the changes when I start waking up at 6:30 instead of 7 and my body will have become used to that sleep cycle. This way, I can properly maintain my health, studies, and organization.

I'm watching Sailor Moon again! I forgot how much I loved this show... :}

I finished packing half my stuff. Ugh, packing is so annoying... :D

Mhm, I wonder... why is that I am such a lazy person? Lol I worked out for 45 minutes today... It felt so good. I should start working out... and stop being a fatty... :}

I played Halo for a really long time today :D I looove when the NPCs are freaking out, you know running into things, driving up stuff and falling out. AI is so stupid.

Tomorrow I'm gonna have dinner with my friends and then watch my first Indian movie... I can't wait...

I leave for Lebanon in 9 days. Here begins the packing mania. There are luggage bags strewn everywhere in the house. In total, we have 6 check-in luggage and 6 carry-ons, the max. All of them are hovering around the max 50 lbs. I still have a lot of stuff I want to add...

People are normally like, wtf, you need a whole week to pack? Well when you're flying international, there are so many restrictions and all. Plus, I'm one of those... really picky packers. Everything's got to be perfect so that when I open the bag to unpack I just take out neatly folded, organized stacks and place them in their respective areas.

Today was the last day of sophomore year!! I went to a traditional party we have at Vedika's house on the last day of school, and we danced till we collapsed. Then we watched some old old Mary Kate & Ashley movies {{ we wanted a good laugh at bad actors, and boy did we cry laugh }}. I met this totally cynical girl {{ exactly my twin! }}. We were finishing each other's sentences and stuff, it was totally cosmic. :D I found a new friend :}

Sunday I'm going to watch an Indian movie, Kites, subbed in English. It's my initiation into the Indian race! I totally want to be brown. It's awesome! They have the cutest nerds {{ although the white ones are the CUTEST }}.

Monday, effing dentist. Urrcckk.

I don't see blue skies...  
So, I'm kind of not changing.

I just can't.

Everything is really backwards right now.

Becky made up to me, and expects me to be friends with her. I said yea, but... we all know I'm not going to do anything towards that friendship, because the problems that ended it in the first place still haven't changed in either of us.

I found Danni again! My crazy 8th grade bffl. We had some crazy fun times back then, but she moved. So I find out one day she came back and lives like 10 minutes away from me. We met up at Mall of GA and watched Avatar, then shopped. We still have sooo many things in common.

School is hectic, now that the year is coming to an end.

Web Dev is feeling less like a waste of time and more like a plain hassle. I just had to get the part of the site where I work with one of the nit-picky-est whiniest people on earth.

National Spanish Exam tomorrow, AP exams in 2 months, EOCTs in the 2 months, and spring break in a week and a half.

This summer I'm going to Leb again. It's gonna rock this year, because I'm not getting involved in my family's affairs and such. They can bicker the whole summer all they want, but I'm going to make this summer worth the 2k$ we had to pay for tickets.

Rare Snow...but for the 3rd time this year...  
 It has snowed for the third time this year. It is rare that we see snow in the south. In fact, we get snow like once every two years. But 2010 is special. We've had three snow storms. We were all elated.

But Fulton County Board of Education thought otherwise. They made us sit in school all day, and watch the snow come down in quarter-sized flakes. We sat and we sat in class until the snow tapered off, and now all that's left is a wet slosh. And some people believe our principal left school early, as soon as it started snowing. Thank you, FCBOE. Your kindness is much appreciated. You have your students in mind, making them drive home in the slosh instead of sending them home while it was snowy but still dry.

I couldn't pay attention in any of my classes. The snow was teasing me outside the window.

Language Arts was the same thing as everyday -- no one participates, and Salmonela gets irritated. Chemistry was nice, because Welly let us go outside and play for a bit. His excuse was "We are learning thermochemistry and state of matter!" :D He's cool. Every other teacher made us sit inside. Lame. Next was Math. Rissa and I had a snowball fight before class began, and I slipped and got my whole butt wet while dodging a ball. I whammed Rissa straight in the face. Web Development Team--swamped is all I can say. The lady who I'm making the site for is REALLY PICKY. So my life will be difficult for a bit. Lunch was alright. Spanish was a boooring drawl. APWH we were in the lab and I was really concentrating... That was a first.

The snow's practically gone. Once again, compliments of FCBOE. While every other school system went home, FCBOE prevailed, making all students suffer in school to the maximum legal suffering level.

Cheetos & Fanta  
So...it's been 2 months. Here's a quick summary of all thats happened....

January:
Had my birthday-- it rocked! It was a blacklight party. I still have "DANTE WAS HERE" and penii and boobies drawn all over my white shirt and walls in highlighter. Fortunately, no one can see them until the blacklights are turned on. What a perverted garage that is!

February:
Mock Trial competition was on the 6th. We got 2nd place, losing to the team who gets 8th in the whole nation. It rocked. The whole team went out and ate afterwards, and I'll really miss them. Don't know what we'll do without the seniors next year. We've become a family. We're pretty good. I bought a PSP and got contacts. This was when shit began last year, with Becky and Alex. So...it was a bad time for me, all the reminiscence and stuff.

Now! Today!

I've found out that I'll be going to Leb this summer. I really need to lose weight before I go there. I'm going to start working on my posture right now, cuz I've developed the "computer user hunch." My on-going struggle with weight is really tiring.

Thomas is leaving me this summer to move to Rhode Island. And Rissa has decided she wants to be homeschooled. I'm quickly losing my haven again. It's a never-ending cycle. You live, you laugh, you cry. And then comes the depression. Not looking forward to that.

I'm improving. I'm not as depressed as I was. I actually haven't tweeted depression in a while. My soul feels better--I still feel evil and dirty, but I can feel that some of that darkness is dissolving. 

I guess I've changed. But only slightly. My disgusting personality and ugliness and fatness will never change.

It’s not going to be that great because it came out after the fact, but anything KH kicks ass. I just hope that we don’t have another Sora character. Please, Nomura, PLEASE, don’t put another Sora character.

23. Was Chain of Memories a waste of time?

The card system pissed the fuck out of me. But it wasn’t a waste of time. I got to see Axel <3 He was the mastermind behind COM so it was important that I play it.

24. If you had the choice of meeting ONE (and ONLY ONE!) KH character, who would it be?

Axel. We would soon be married after that. Even if I have to blackmail him by using the pictures he took with Roxas when they went to the lake. Oh la la ~

25. Which KH character do you relate to the most? Why?

To tell the truth, Axel. I relate so well to him. He’s got every detail planned out and he’s on top of things. I’m like that, being OCD and all. He also is sly. Plus, he follows his “heart” (WHICH WE’VE ESTABLISHED BY NOW IS NOT A PHYSICAL THING, BUT AN EMOTIONAL THING) and I tend to do that stupidly. I also, like Axel, play the side that pays me more. Axel was riding along with the Organization just to kill time.

And I have my Roxas (Sikha), who creates an even deeper Axel in me because she is so cold like Roxas.

26. What's the most embarrassing moment that ever happened to you that had something to do with KH?

Err... let’s just say… I told some people that if Axel wanted to do “anything” to me I would gladly agree. And then the conversation went a little wild and they began to make up “situations”, and I of course had to say I would allow Axel to, cause… I would.

I played the game real fast the first time just to watch the cut scenes, so when I got to Demyx at the castle ruins in Hollow Bastion in KH2, I was only level 30 something. And I couldn’t get past that part because I didn’t have enough HP to withstand the attacks. Lol.

30. What was a good addition in KH2 that made it oh-so-addictive?

The new keyblades rocked. And seeing Axel more = <3

→It is my birthday.

My onii-sama Thomas stayed up till 12 to be the first to tell me happy birthday. Becky decorated my locker, got me ten balloons, and a locket. She made me wear a tiara all day. It was difficult to walk through doorways with a mound of balloons... Ronger gave me a dragonfly necklace. Anna baked me the most delicious cake.

And yet on a day so special, I found out about my Father.

These things only happen in dramas, right?

Father's doctor told him he only has a few months left to live. There's nothing the doctors can do.

How can I celebrate with such a looming fate hanging over Father's neck?

I am currently speeding through commissions on Roliana....

Ah, well, today was final exams. Art was almost unfair in how easy it was. Math was unexpectedly easy...

And Becky and I went shopping. I bought her a Frank Sinatra CD for christmas and some nail polish...she bought me a Vampire Knight choker and a keyblade keychain.

We had much fun...Becky is a true friend...

I hope for something tomorrow...but I shall only share my wish with god.

→Friday was the game.

Marly, TerrBear, Becky, Holly, Angela, and I went together...We spent the first half watching this guy....who was trying to sneak into the game for free through the fence from the woods. And he was like staring at us.

Then we walked around screaming "PEDOPHILE ON THE LOOSE, EVACUATE THE PREMISE IMMEDIATELY!!"
lawl...then we told this guy with like long hair to get  a haircut...and he chased us around the whole stadium...it was scary...We ran like hell and pretended to be apart of the other team. And we didn't even know who we were playing...

So lawl we finally sat down and played spin the bottle.....it was dull, due to how tired we were.... Then we lost the game by like 10 points again...our team sucks...

So that was Friday and the game....yupyup....

→Yesterday was Free Hugs Day.

And thus, we set off with a sign and a smiles to find hugs through the crowded halls of NHS.
I got a 115 hugs by the end of the day, and I beat everyone else by about 50 each.

Turns out I didn't fail. I gots a 90. Today we started contour drawings with patterns...and tomorrow is vvj...
Math I○
I played calculator games all math.
Health○
We presented...and I spent the rest of the time sleeping with my eyes open. Then we watched a video about smoking I've seen 4 years in a row.
Lunch○
YAYZ. Our lunch group is a spazz....we did crazy things...and walked around hugging....and crap....and then today we watched Terry walk up to some random girl and pray around her...then we pretend to beat him up...lawl
Biology○
NOTES + LECTURE
Spanish○
We're doing an awesome lesson on traveling.
Literature○
Darn Animal Farm....

ANIME CLUB: They were trying to teach us to draw...I got depressed because someone told me I can't do proportion right...but you know what? Screw them. I spent my time going crazy with Marly and Holly.

And I skipped debate today..too lazy...

Marly and I have become closer...I am very happy....<3

→We are crazy. Today we did the Hare Hare Yukai dance in the courtyard about 5 times and once in a hallway. We being Danielle and I. Becky ditched. Then we created a TERRY dance and also did that for a while...we do crazy things at lunch.

I completely failed our first quiz. I had studied the wrong thing. Marissa and I decided to finish our Oturan story we started in seventh grade. It was a book we passed back and forth...and our first part...we were so naiive back then...
Math I○
I missed my math class for TAG. My first Freshman Focus seminar started today. I have Youmei and Sarah in that class.
Health○
We finished our projects....ours was awesome.
Lunch○
It was awesome. We did the Hare Hare Yukai dance and people were staring.
Biology○
LECTURE + NOTES
Spanish○
Ugh work work work.
Literature○
Dodged a test but had to turn in an essay. And more vocab....:(

Art Boogaloo club today...we watched an awesome movie called The Fountain. I wanted to finish it...but it was time to go.

→I have become something I don't know.

Perhaps this is what high school does to you.

The first month has passed by quite quickly, and I realize that within a month I became...another Leanne.
My anime-obsession has slackened. I promise to catch up in October. My wardrobe has gone in another direction completely. I have set aside my black for Fridays, as my tradition now is. I bought those skinny jeans I swore I would never wear. I am playing around with my scarf...and I am using an excess of eyeliner. I am trying to become scene...I supposed that image now defines me.  I have begun to hang out with a different crowd. I have strayed far from what I once was...

I am being pummeled by debate tournys, and I have got Art and Anime after school...I have begun to like going to the games...I am frequenting visits to H-mart... and I have become great friends with Becky.

Becky, Vita, and I went homecoming dress shopping Sunday. And I wasted a ton of money...we took one of those photo strips.

I guess life is good. I'll try and update more. It's so refreshing.

→ 'Tis about time to worry about Homecoming. To justify this, to-morrow Becky and I shall proceed to shop for our dresses at North Point. I find that black is my dance color...and will always be. Black is also my Friday color, my Valentines color, and many other things... but I digress.

Wow that sounded awesome! I sounded like I knew what the hell I was talking about... Anyway. I can't wait for Hallow's Eve because during school, I've created a whole even called L-day where we will cosplay as L from Death Note.

I think I've become to American...it's all Becky's fault...*glare* I WENT TO A FOOTBALL GAME. I WORE A SHIRT THAT SAID 'A COWBOY STOLE MY HEART' WITHOUT NOTICING, AND I AM FUCKING BECOMING AMERICAN DAMMMMMMMIIIIIITTTT. Anybody want to help me convert back into introvert Asian nerd?

I've got a debate tourny in two weeks and I still haven't formed my case...Gah....I still have to form both the neg and the aff....

I've been recovering my Asian-ness by going to Super Heaven-Mart (Super H-mart) after school...it's only a 5 minute walk...

~Lawl, today Sikha came over and brought all her camera equipment and her Roxas figure. We spent an hour doing a 'mini photo shoot' with Roxas and my Axel figure...It was hilarious, like we made them hug and we made them fight and eat sea salt...We actually acted out the scene (YES WE PLAYED DOLLS) where Roxas leaves Axel and we were all like adding funny stuff and lawl. We might make a video if I convince Sikha. And that's not all; we'll be making more later lawl.

When she updates to her Flickr I'll post a link!! I'm also gonna post some in my dA cuz I'm gonna add funny stuff and subtitles.

~Happy Leap Day~  
~Next Leap Day will be when I graduate~~ YAY~~

Anyway, Wednesday was half day. We had tons of fun; it was team day. We are team A, and wear black. XD; Well, we played tons of fun games and stuffs. Chels and I hung out together, and we had brought our sketchbooks and materials (even though we weren't allowed to bring any bags except a small purse XD;) and we sketched all through the volleyball game between the student Teams and the teachers. We lost. ;_; But, the game was fun. All the teachers missed except for like 4, who were AMAZING. THEY PWN.

Remember the Math Moron Kirksey? He was attempting to play. HAHAHA. He missed the ball like 3 times then retired to the sidelines breathing heavily. FATSO.

In other news, FUREIMU-SENPAI IS GONE. ;_; She's at a leadership conference and won't come back till tomorrow. ;_;

Britt had surgery Monday on her lip/gum area, and she came back Wednesday, but I couldn't see her cuz of Team Day....I finally saw her Thursday, and her upper lip was so swollen, she couldn't laugh! XD;

Lolz, today I want to watch this awesome vampire flick. :D

I've also found another side to me. I've always loved quiet, peaceful places for me to relax. But now I'm loving it more, too much actually. I'm starting to love being secluded, you know, feeling calm, peace, and serene. I dunno what else I'll find out XD;

Not much happened Friday, except I'm still deciding about those art classes...

Yesterday nothing happened either, except my working on a few CGs...

And today we went shopping, and I bought a dress and pumps for my Uncle's wedding. He still isn't shure when it will be, but sometime from July-August. I just had to buy the dress, because it was on sale and SOOO PRETTY!!!

And...Fureimu-senpai finally updated...I'm happy...

I went to Anna's...and she wasn't there...glare....

Plus, I've read about 3 more manga! :D

I will try to post everyday, because I decided it would be nice to actually chronicle this boring life. I would be able to look back at this years from now and laugh, laugh at how stupid I was and remember, remember the happy times.

I have come down with some stupid cold. I'm not going to school...*sigh*

I'm bored today.....There's no one to chat with...[of course! They are at work/school!]

Sikha and I opened up a new comm, a rating comm for Eternal Sonata. 2 days ago, out of the blue, Sikha asks me to help her. I though, well hey, it won't last that long! She can't stay committed to one thing longer than a week or two because she's so busy. I cannot understand being so busy you don't have time to breathe. I just don't. I have so much free time, it's not even funny, and yet I still finish everything I need to do. I have just as much stuff as she does.....

The comm is  [info]sonata_ratings...

State Tech fair is March 8, which means I've got about 2 weeks. We're not even half-way ready! BLEH.

Guess what~ I've started to go on a marathon~ No, not a healthy good for you one, a bad stay on computer one. XD; I want to read ALL the manga on the internet. I spent all morning finding sites, and used Microsoft Word 2007 to narrow the list down and remove redundant manga. I love you Microsoft, you make my life so easy ♥... I'll be posting her and on my profile how far I am....:D So far I've read 51/664 manga!
It's kinda hard, because I have to ignore all the yaoi and adultry, but I'll make it! I WILL NOT GIVE IN TO YAOI. NOT ON MY LIFE. This is actually a good experience, because I can learn drawing techniques, and I can be motivated for my novel and maybe manga. :D

-sigh- I have WAAAY too much free time.
